The Women’s Lobby of Colorado seeks to provide better opportunities for women in our state since 1993 by ensuring that public policies reflect gender equity and justice. By maintaining a daily lobbying presence at Colorado’s state capitol, our all-volunteer organization has kept the needs of women front and center in our state’s public policy debates for more than a decade.
From pay equity policies to worker benefits and rights, workplace policies impact the economic well-being of women and tend to have an outsized impact on women in general. Women's Lobby of Colorado supports policies that support Coloradans' rights and opportunities as they age, safety-net programs that provide older Coloradans assistance when they need it, and policies that support every Coloradan's ability to save for retirement.
Women's Lobby of Colorado supports all Coloradans' access to reproductive health care and education and protection for reproductive rights. This includes access to safe and legal abortion.
As the costs of living in Colorado continues to rise, the Women's Lobby of Colorado supports policies to ensure that all families can thrive. This includes support for public transportation and tax policies that reflect the needs of all Coloradans.
